Just under 2 months ’til our next DirtyDiscoJamm party in NG1! It’ll fly by, people…
Some of ya’s have asked again “what’s it all about?”. Quick answer is we just wanna give people a decent night out. That’s about it.
We know plenty of you are up for some booze and a boogie but don’t fancy the mess that’s town at the weekend – we don’t. So we’re having a stab at giving you and us that night out. The timings are kinda babysitter-friendly if ya got kiddies while The Peacock’s good for cabs ’n buses (and nearby kebabs!).
The tunes are a massive part of the night and we dig all sorts but lean towards tunes that will hopefully get people moving. Check out all our mixtapes if ya wanna a taste. Some right bombs in there but we would say that…
And thanks for all your support. Some of ya’s have been with us since day one way back and it’s much appreciated.
Hopefully, we’ll keep the party going. We’re up for it, if you are.
We’re super excited to say our next DirtyDiscoJamm party’s on Saturday 3rd May ’14.
Same place – upstairs at The Peacock, Mansfield Road NG1. Same time – 8.30pm ’til 11.30pm-ish. Same great vibes, lovely people and lots of boogie.
It’s bank holiday weekend too. So there’s no excuse not to get to stuck in that night. See y’all there.
Can’t wait ’til then? Treat yourselves to our latest mixtape. Go on.
Damn! What a steaming session. A massive shout out to everyone who got down with us at our first DirtyDiscoJamm party in NG1 on Saturday 8th February. We had a brill time spinning for y’all.
Big nod to The Peacock people for letting us have their upstairs room. We’ll be back soon.
And as to when that’ll be, we’re aiming for a few months time – usual stuff allowing. We’ll let you know right here and on all our other social thingys.
Spotters, here’s what we played that night. Well, most of it anyhow…

We’re expecting great vibes, lovely people and lots of boogie.
Can’t wait ’til then? Grab a sweet taste of what we’ll be spinning that very night at mixcloud.com/dirtydiscosoundsystem.
And if you must hear just one other thing this week, please make it Luxxury’s Slow Edit 78 Mixtape. Gorgeous edits, people.
Hope to see you on Saturday 8th February in NG1.
We said after our last party that we’d let you know what we’re doing in 2014. Now’s that time.
We’re chuffed to say we’ll be back in action upstairs at The Peacock, Mansfield Road NG1, on Saturday 8th February. Usual time – 8.30pm ’til 11.30pm-ish. We’ve even got a new party night name too – DirtyDiscoJamm.
The room’s a wee bit smaller than before so things will be cosier but there’ll be plenty of space for boozing and boogying. We tried to get somewhere in NG5 but nothing was doing. That’s not to say we won’t come back – we hope so.
There’s one other thing we need to drop on you, and we’ve fretted long and hard about this – we’re asking you to cough up £2.50 when you come through the door. Quite a few of you asked before why we weren’t charging. We always thought it may have to happen and we’ve put it off as long as we could. But the only way we can keep the party going is to get your help with covering the costs of grabbing the room.
Hope to see you at our very first DirtyDiscoJamm in NG1 next year.
A massive shout out to everyone who got down with us for our last #VinylNight party in NG5 on Saturday 30th November.
All got a bit emotional towards the end as we kinda expected but we had a damn fine time playing for y’all even when our pesky gear played up(!).
Big nod to The Gladdie crew for letting us have their room for this last year. Another nod to all those people who came out to all our other #VinylNight parties too. Much appreciated, people.
So, what now? We’ve lined up another venue but are still working out some stuff. Soon as we’re sorted, we’ll let you all know – that’s a promise.
