A massive shout out to everyone who got down with us for our last #VinylNight party in NG5 on Saturday 30th November.
All got a bit emotional towards the end as we kinda expected but we had a damn fine time playing for y’all even when our pesky gear played up(!).
Big nod to The Gladdie crew for letting us have their room for this last year. Another nod to all those people who came out to all our other #VinylNight parties too. Much appreciated, people.
So, what now? We’ve lined up another venue but are still working out some stuff. Soon as we’re sorted, we’ll let you all know – that’s a promise.

Cheeky one to remind you that our very last #VinylNight party at The Gladstone, NG5, is happening on Saturday 30th November. It’s come round super quick again.
We’re a bit sad but we’ve had a damn fine year and it’s time to move on. We’re just working out the final details of our new home. Don’t fret – we’ll share all that with you soon enough. We’re even toying with a new party night name too…
Before then, you can get stuck into our latest mixtape (it’s a right cracker!) and our usual social ramblings. Or take a look at what’s been making us ignore the day job. Such as Soul Jazz Records’ US punk 45s compilation, Andrew Weatherall’s (not him again!) mix of Jagwar Ma’s “Come Save Me” and a scorching edit of Bee Gees’ “Night Fever”.
Hope to see you at The Gladstone on Saturday 30th November one last time for some booze and boogie.

Long time coming! We’ve finally sorted our next #Vinyl Night for Friday 19th July 2013! Yep, that’s a Friday night, people.
And it’s an end of school term night of fun for the grown ups. Invites will be coming your way soon.
Something else: we keep getting asked “what are our big DirtyDiscoSoundsystem plans for the future?” – will we go to a new venue?; will we charge people to get in?; will we play less disco? Last one’s a fib! Truth is, we’re happy keeping things as they are.
For now. We really dig the venue and we’re loving that people actually want to spend their precious nights out with us and our dusty crates of wax (you know who you all are!).
If things are going to change, we’ll let you know right here, in our new DDS mail outs (still coming soon, people!), facebook.com/dirtydiscosound and twitter.com/dirtydiscosound too.
Hope to see you on 19th July in NG5.
