Crackin’ night. Big shout out to everyone who bopped ’n boozed with us at The Lord Roberts. Good to see you. Even bigger hugs to our DirtyDiscoJamm hardcore who just keep coming back for more. Appreciate your support, people. Honestly.
What now? The Lord Roberts as we know it shuts on 30th September. Many thanks to Shaun and his pub crew for looking after us this last six months. We’ll try to find a new home for our DirtyDiscoSoundsystem parties so hopefully we’ll be back spinning early 2016.
Don’t forget – we’ve got a Saturday afternoon black wax residency thing happening at Rough Trade Nottingham. Our next sesh’s on 24th October then 28th November. Always fun spinning vinyl. Pop in to say hello, why doncha.
Of course. Cuts we dropped on y’all. Loads of big Jamm party fav’s in here:

Sad news but we knew it was coming. The Lord Roberts Pub will be shutting its doors on 30th September for what could be a long time. Current manager Shaun and his crew will be leaving for good then too.
A new owner will take control eventually but the boozer’s friendly and open-minded vibe will be gone when the doors shut that last time. This is down to the pub’s landlord. Shaun’s tried to work something out to keep The Lord Roberts running as it is now but they refused.
We’ll soon be looking for a new home for our parties. But we’re still having our early autumn #DirtyDiscoJamm party downstairs on The Lord Roberts’ final weekend. But we want it to be a night to remember so we won’t be charging you to get in. Cost ya’s zip so more cash for tipples. May chuck in some balloons too.
We really hope you can join us on Saturday 26th September for a boogie in the “disco” basement to help celebrate Shaun and his crew’s last few days plus say a sad goodbye too.
Bank holiday weekend init, so we’re made up to be spinnin’ sweet disco ‘n classic pop tunes at The Lord Roberts this Saturday night from 9pm-ish.
Just after our all-vinyl Beats ‘n Treats session at Rough Trade Nottingham. Gonna a frisky day, alright.
We’ll be in the main bar space. Nice change. So don’t forget to say hello on your way to grab a tipple. Be nice to see you.
What a night that was! Right sweaty dancing of the best kind. We had a blast and it looked you lot did too.
So a massive cuddle to everyone who joined us, danced lots and got messy. Thank you so much. We’re doing it again on Saturday 26th September. Same place. Get it in your diaries.
But if you can’t wait, we’re made up to supplying the party tunes at The Lord Roberts’ Pride weekend disco knees up on Saturday 25th July. Expect classics, disco, pop, soul and a juicy dollop of cheese too. Everyone’s welcome and it’ll cost you nought to walk in.
Tunes too. Cos you want to know doncha:

Whoops! Took a bit longer than we wanted but we’ve bagged our next #DirtyDiscoJamm party night.
Happy to say we’ll be back spinning choice cuts on Saturday 27th June downstairs at The Lord Roberts, Broad Street, NG1. Usual time – 8.30pm ’till late-ish. Door tax is just £2.50. Bargain. Proper. We may even chuck in a few balloons.
Yep, we know it’s Glasto weekend. But we wanna dance, people. Not watch the telly. See ya’s there.
Cheese on toast! Our Jamm party on Saturday 21st March turned out to be a massive night.
Big messy shout out to all you lovely people for bopping and boozing the night away. Even got quite carried away ourselves. Needless to say we suffered the day after but in a good way.
Big bumps to Sean and The Lord Roberts crew for all their help. We’re hoping to do it all again in a few months time. Don’t fret, we’ll let you know all about it right here.

Not long now ’til our next DirtyDiscoJamm party in NG1, people.
Some of you have asked again “So, what’s it all about?”. Quick answer is we just wanna give people a fun night out. That’s it.
We know plenty of you are up for some booze and a boogie but don’t fancy the mess that’s some parts of town on a weekend – we don’t. So we’re having a stab at giving you and us that night out. The timings are babysitter-friendly if you got little ‘uns while The Lord Roberts’ good for cabs ’n buses (and dodgy post-party nibbles!).
The tunes are a massive part of our nights and we dig all sorts but lean towards that cuts will hopefully get people moving. Check out our mixtapes and past set lists for a taste. Some right bombs in there but we would say that…
And thanks for all your support. Some people have been with us since day one way back and it’s much appreciated.
Hopefully, we’ll keep the party going. We’re up for it, if you are…
Now that was very cosy! Big shout out to everyone who braved a chilly Saturday night in town to join us at our #dirtydiscojamm party upstairs at The Peacock on Saturday 11th October ’14. Thanks, people.
Just planning our next knees up now. Hope to tell you when that will be soon. You can always mull over our set list (or most to it…) to relive those memories of that Saturday night. Up to you, mind…

So sorry, folks! Due an almighty cock up by The Peacock pub crew (they double booked the piddlin’ room!), we’re now having our next #DirtyDiscoJamm party on Saturday 11th October ’14.
We know from talking to many people they were gearing up for our party on 27th September. We’re as disappointed as anyone else but it’s one of those annoying things that’s outside our control.
That said, you can still expect very nice people, some boozy tipples and sweet tunes to boogie to from 8:30pm til late on 11th October. And it’s just a budget busting £2.50 on the door too. Same place as always: upstairs at The Peacock, Nottingham, NG1.
Sorry again for any aggravation the change of date may cause you. Hope you can still make it…
Wotcha. Some quick news. We’ve decided to bring forward our next #dirtydiscojamm party by a week to Saturday 27th September.
Sorry for any arse-ache caused but we’ve got so much going at DirtyDisco HQ that something had to give.
But we really want to keep the #dirtydiscojamm party going, so Saturday 27th September it is. Same place: upstairs at The Peacock, NG1. Same time: 8:30pm ’til late. Watch out for our updated flyers coming very soon.
Hope you can make it.
