Time for another #SaturdayJamm, people…

Image of outside of Rough Trade records, Nottingham

We’re finally popping our Rough Trade DJ slot cherry in their upstairs cafe at their gaff along Broad Street from 3pm ’til 7pm on Sat. 30th May.

Vinyl-only set pulling in all sorts of fine nuggets. Cafe’s a nice chilled space and kiddies are very welcome too. Been ages since we played out with some black wax so we’re well up for it.

Hoping it’ll be the first of a few slots over the coming months.

Be fab to see you if you’re in town that day.

#DirtyDiscoJamm party on 27th June heads up…

Beer Fest Jamm on Saturday 16th May ’15…

Image of flyer for Blackwoods Beer Fest on 16th May

Made up to say we’ll be spinning tunes to soundtrack an afternoon of supping craft beers, ciders and wines at Blackwoods Scouts Group Annual Beer Festival on Saturday 16th May ’15.

We’ll be dropping a massive selection of songs between 2pm and 7pm. Expect all sorts and a few surprises too.

The beer fest goes on until late that evening so hang around to watch the sunset and the evening’s entertainment.

It’ll cost you just £3 to walk in and that gets you a free glass to sip your ale from too. Bargain. All profits from the event go towards funding Blackwoods’ activities over the next year.

Hope it’s sunny, people!

Now that was one sweaty night…

Image of Edwin StarrCheese on toast! Our Jamm party on Saturday 21st March turned out to be a massive night.

Big messy shout out to all you lovely people for bopping and boozing the night away. Even got quite carried away ourselves. Needless to say we suffered the day after but in a good way.

Big bumps to Sean and The Lord Roberts crew for all their help. We’re hoping to do it all again in a few months time. Don’t fret, we’ll let you know all about it right here.

Our next #DirtyDiscoJamm party’s just around the corner…

Image of DirtyDiscoJamm party flyer

Not long now ’til our next DirtyDiscoJamm party in NG1, people.

Some of you have asked again “So, what’s it all about?”. Quick answer is we just wanna give people a fun night out. That’s it.

We know plenty of you are up for some booze and a boogie but don’t fancy the mess that’s some parts of town on a weekend – we don’t. So we’re having a stab at giving you and us that night out. The timings are babysitter-friendly if you got little ‘uns while The Lord Roberts’ good for cabs ’n buses (and dodgy post-party nibbles!).

The tunes are a massive part of our nights and we dig all sorts but lean towards that cuts will hopefully get people moving. Check out our mixtapes and past set lists for a taste. Some right bombs in there but we would say that…

And thanks for all your support. Some people have been with us since day one way back and it’s much appreciated.

Hopefully, we’ll keep the party going. We’re up for it, if you are…

Image of DirtyDiscoJamm flyer for 21st March 2015Sorry, it took a wee bit longer than we wanted but we’ve bagged our next DirtyDiscoJamm party night.

Chuffed to say we’ll be back spinning choice cuts on Saturday 21st March downstairs at The Lord Roberts, Broad Street, NG1. Usual time – 8pm ’till late. Door tax is just £2.50. Bargain.

Yep, it’s an-new Jamm party space in Hockley. We had a fab time at The Peacock but fancied a change. We think The Lord Roberts is an ace party space and sure you will too. Hope to see you that night… Dave // Sam xxx
